FAQ – Ferme du Parc

Where is the Ferme du Parc located?

La Ferme du Parc is located in Montignies-lez-Lens, Belgium, at 13 Rue La Roche. It is close to Mons, Ath and Pairi Daiza.


What are the arrival and departure times?

Arrival is possible from 6:00 PM. Departure must be before 11:00 AM. Advance arrangements can be requested.


How to book a cottage at Ferme du Parc?

Bookings can be made online at www.gitesalaferme.be or www.fermeduparc.be . Availability is updated in real time.


What payment methods are accepted?

Payments can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal or bank transfer.


Which cottages are available?

Two cottages are available at Ferme du Parc:

  • The Bakery (2 to 5 people)
  • The Three Little Pigs (2 people + 1 baby cot)

They are located in renovated old farm buildings.


Are the cottages equipped?

Yes. Each cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, a television, bed linen and towels. Private parking is available.


Is it possible to cook in the cottages?

Yes. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen allowing you to cook on site.


Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not allowed in the cottages.


Can we visit the farm?

Yes, by reservation only. Guided tours allow you to discover the farm, the animals and how farming works.


What animals live on the farm?

The Ferme du Parc is home to horses, sheep, goats, cattle, chickens, geese, ducks and rabbits.


Are there any activities on site?

Yes. Visitors can enjoy walks, exploring the farm, and nature activities. Educational activities are available by reservation.


Is the farm suitable for children?

Yes. The farm is suitable for families and offers an introduction to animals and the agricultural world.


Is it possible to eat on site?

Breakfast baskets are available upon request. Restaurants and shops are also available nearby.


Where can I do activities around the farm?

The region offers many activities:

Is the farm well located for visiting the region?

Yes. La Ferme du Parc is located near Mons, Ath and Brussels. It is also accessible from Lille in less than an hour.


Is there a parking lot?

Yes. Free private parking is available for visitors.


Can we come without a car?

It's possible, but more limited. A car or bicycle remains the most practical way to access the farm and visit the region.


Are the cottages suitable for long-term stays?

Yes. The cottages can accommodate short or long stays, with complete facilities for self-sufficiency.


Can we visit the farm freely?

No. Visits are by reservation only in order to respect agricultural activity and the animals.


Is the farm still in operation?

Yes. La Ferme du Parc is a working farm with horse breeding and boarding facilities.


Is it possible to organize an event on the farm?

Yes. Rooms are available for seminars, meetings, birthdays, weddings and private events.


Is it possible to sleep on-site during an event?

Yes. The gîtes allow participants to be accommodated directly on site.


Is the farm close to Brussels?

Yes. Brussels is about an hour's drive from Ferme du Parc.


Is the farm suitable for corporate seminars?

Yes. Equipped rooms are available for meetings, training and team building in a rural setting.
